Frank, it would be a heartbreaker to say the least. What sucks also is the Twins are doing what they do best in the Metrodome vs. the Yankees...winning!! :evil:

That's why this game is so fucked up.

They break up a "no hitter" with a bloop hit and it starts a 2-run ralley.

OC lines a shot down the line and it's an inch foul. Would have been man on 2nd and no outs.

There is no rhyme or reason to who wins or loses some games. It's all luck sometimes. Tonight might be an example of one of those games.

Boston is the better team and Beckett is the better pitcher, this was not a surprise. Danks is a very good pitcher, who will likely be an all-star in multiple years perhaps. But Beckett is already a cy young candidate each year and plays for the defending champs. The better team won. When is the next Royals series???

Hard to be too upset about this one. Danks was outstanding. We didnt necessarily deserve to lose but Boston deserved to win. Sometimes you gotta tip your cap when you play a great team who brings their A game.

Yeah, a split with two outstanding efforts by your two best pitchers and one gutsy effort by the Floyd. Saturdays game was sort of a wash because of what happened to Jose. Obviously I would have liked to take 3 of 4, but 4-3 vs the Red Sox and Tigers is acceptable. Now we got to take at least 2 from KC. If you get beat by the Royals it negates the good from this homestand. Hopefully Javy gets back on track.

I said I would be happy with a 6-4 homestand, but this team needs a winning streak. This half game playing around with Minnesota is gonna bite them in the ass if they can't pick up a few games in the next week or so.
