I'm in my late twenties. I have been a sox fan all my life. I had crappy teams to root for. There have been a couple divison winners. This World Series means everything to me. I remember the days when Ivan Calderon was our star. "Ivan Calderon dammit." Now i get to experience a World Series title with my father. I cant desdribe the feeling. Thank you Kenny Williams....you were the key. All those times i went to Comiskey came to mined as they clinched it. Sox fans I love all of you. Congratulations. This is one of the greatest days in my life. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I'm 37 and I went to my first Sox game in 73. I was a big Bucky Dent fan and I loved Wilbur Wood. I've been a diehard ever since.

The Southside Hitmen in 77 was my favorite team with Richie Zisk, Chet Lemon and Oscar Gamble. I was NINE.

The 83 Sox were great but I cried when Tito Landrum went deep off of Brit Burns in Game 4 of the ALCS.

93 and 2000 were good years but when the playoffs started, the team looked scared and played like sissys.

2005 brought us a team that played to win and made us proud. A coaching staff made primarily of former Sox that loved the uniform they once competed in.

Today my Sox are winners. Through all the bad coaches, players, and uniforms. Today my Sox are Champions!

-This is the best day of my sports fan life!

THANK YOU GUYS!!!

I am 35 and the '77 South Side hitmen were the first team I remember. The softball unis, the shorts, the fro's (Oscar Gamble rocks). My first time at Sox park was '78 against the BoSox, Wood vs. Tiant. As a 9 year old I remember cursing Steve Dahl along with Piersall (remember the "outpatient" shirt? LOL) Ironically I went on to become a huge Dahl fan, while being equally frightened of Jimmy. Go figure. Last night was incredible, and a true JFK moment (where were you?). Thank you Jerry, Kenny, Ozzie, and thank you White Sox! Fucking unbelieveable!!

even as recent as 1 year ago, Mr. J hood would reserve an hour for Sox fans only to call in and they couldn't get a call sometimes.

All of a sudden thousand sof people are calling this the greatest moment of their lives and the Score can't stop taking calls from people with such empty lives that the Sox winnning the World Series is the greatest moment? ever have a kid? get married? get a job? get a promotion and a raise? any personal accomplishments?

Your White Soxism peaked today when Mulligan took a call from what seemed to be a grown man of 40+, who stated he went out and got his car detailed in all Sox logos. Pretty cool guy! Even Mulligan knew that was the sure sign of a mispalced life.

The guy deserves nothing but praise for delegating it to the pros, unlike some clown in my neighborhood who butchered an Expedition by his rather talentless DIY job using leaky templates and a hardware store grade spray-paint.

i'm 30.
my dad took me to my first game in 83 against Toronto. The Sox lost 2-1.
I don't remember the 83 playoffs much, other than my dad screaming at the t.v.

I saw them beat Boston 14-3 when I was about 11 or so.

I've certainly seen a ton more games at the new park than the old.

The company he worked for at the time would have company outings to Sox games every year and actually Don Paul's wife, Katie, is the daughter of my dad's former boss.
"WE'RE HAPPY FOR YA"

I saw Frank Thomas' first major league home run. 8)

The best game I ever saw in person????
That, my friends, is a no-brainer.
WS 05 GAME 2.
best SOX game ever.
