Kenny usually doesn't start his "Bring the oldies back" until late July or August.

Why? I'd much much rather him as the 4th or 5th OF than Jerry frickin Owens.

Very true. There is not a lot of risk with this move.

Ok - we've got two threads on this. Please no Shoutout to him or DB to Kenny.

By Mark Gonzales

DETROIT - The White Sox agreed to terms on a minor league contract with outfielder Scott Podsednik, one of their 2005 World Series heroes who was recently cut by Colorado.

I think you're referring to Lisa Dergan, Jimmy, who's definitely easy on the eyes...Meanwhile, although Brian Anderson is starting in centerfield today, you read it here...As undeserving and underwhelming as he played in Spring Training, Jerry Owens is somehow going to get the bulk of playing time now that he's back with the big club. If that's the case, B.A. and his agent better demand a trade. Ozzie can't stand B.A.!

I'm not sure if everybody knows this yet or not.....but Norm Van Lier & Johhny "Red" Kerr have both died. I don't remember seeing any threads on that.

They say everything old is new again, and all I can figure is whether Scott Podsednik has ANYTHING left for the White Sox...Besides, there is a certain Anaheim Angel who is back with their big club, but isn't thrilled to fill Nick Adenhart's roster spot and would be better than Jerry Owens & Brian Anderson in center field right now. Reggie Willis would be an upgrade for sure, and if I'm GM Kenny Williams, I'd be on the phone with the Angels right now to try to get him here!

There could have been worse signings than Scotty Pods.

A stick, for example.
