17 stolen base 17 attempts, if it's not AJ's fault , then the pitchers or Coop have to be blamed. That will probably improve when they play the Cubs, for now it's horse poopie!

Walt, that's a very disturbing stat that Ed Farmer mentioned on the White Sox radio broadcast today...I think part of the reason is that the Sox pitchers don't pay nearly enough attention to the guys on the bases. Jose Contreras is notorious for allowing such runners to steal. Also, let's not forget Anthony John Pierzynski isn't exactly getting any younger...

I think last year, that stat was also NOT in the Sox favor. Maybe "The Ranger" could ask Cooper about that. It's not always the catchers fault.

I didn't say it was A.J. & Corky Miller's fault...I think the White Sox pitchers should be a lot more careful in holding opponents on and not allowing runners to steal at will.

With second baseman & leadoff hitter Chris Getz likely to return Friday night at the Ballpark in Arlington, TX, I think Alexei needs a breather or two at shortstop. It's not just his inability to hit that's frustrating Ozzie, Ramirez's head appears to be down & discouraging during this prolonged slump.

My earlier comment was directed to his defense, as he had a throwing error. He's still hitting under the Menzoa line.

Konerko has been tearing the cover off the ball pretty much all year.

I stand corrected... 10 for 32 is an improvement for Alexei.

Unfortunately that is not a day-to-day injury. I have an awful feeling that Jerry Owens and Peter Pansy will soon be playing center field for your Chicago White Sox.
