By now, White Sox fans, you've seen the video of Bobby Jenks throwing inside to Rangers' second baseman Ian Kinsler in the top 9th Saturday night with the Sox leading 3-2 and then getting warned by home plate ump Lance Barksdale. It didn't sit well with Sox TV voice Ken Harrelson, who wasn't pleased with Barksdale warning the Sox closer given the fact that Kevin Millwood threw inside to three of the Sox hitters, hitting 2 of them. After the game, Jenks admitted that he meant to throw inside to Kinsler. According to ESPNChicago.com, Major League Baseball is investigating the incident and there's a chance Big Bobby might be in big trouble. A suspension could be in the cards for the Sox closer.

Who does Jenks look like?
And what network was this alleged game on?

WGN's CW9 & WGN America had the game, and think what "Bobby" on "King of the Hill" looks like for Jenks, but this has to do with what he did and what he said...He admitted that he meant to throw inside at Kinsler...

I'm sure that Ozzie is glad one of his pitchers is sticking up for guys like Quentin and sending a message.

If he didn't admit it no one would have known. Surely the two experts in the booth didn't know shit.It seems your baseball knowledge is better than your basketball knowledge

Bobby should of just kept his mouth shut - everyone knew it was a purpose pitch and it's about time someone from the Sox staff grew some onion's - but to admit it is just stupid.

I agree that Jenks should have kept it to himself. Then if he hits another batter, the umpire might assume it was intentional. But if he says nothing, then hits another guy.....hey, the ball just gets away from him now and then

Given MLB salaries, that's chump change Jenks can easily pay...

If Bobby pitches 60 innings and averages 15 pitches per appearance thats 900 pitches.
He makes 7 mill/yr so that equals $7,777 per pitch.

So he made 7000 K on that pitch after the fine.

Not bad.
