6 hrs mostly when the game was decided. 5 stolen bases 5 cs . The Sox should beat up on Chief Yahoo Sizemore. I'll watch Overated Grady whiff 7 times this series.

Not a real good one these days Frank. I think he's got 1B/DH written all over him. :(

Alexei flubbed 2 more double plays. I think he may need 2 more days off.

His defense so far this year has not been nearly as good as I expected. When Beckham is ready I would rather see Alexei back at 2B.

I said all last year he was deceptively mediocre at second and that his limitations would show up at SS.

It might be time to blow this team up- at least the non-pitching part of it, anyway. If they were in just about any other division that'd be clear. I hope that the prospect of winning the central with 85 wins doesn't keep KW from getting something from the aging core of this team before it's too late.

I think it was beardown who was always telling us he was going to be good at SS, where is he at now? Once again our poster of the year is not around when he should be here.

RFDC, I was in the minority when the White Sox decided to move Alexei Ramirez to shortstop in the offseason. Even though shortstop is Alexei's natural position, I thought he did a solid job both offensively & defensively once Juan Uribe (remember him?) got injured in Anaheim a year ago around this time and all but put a strangehold on the second base job. It's very, very disturbing to see such an athletic ballplayer like Alexei struggle like this, both defensively & at the plate in his second full season in the bigs. If he continues to struggle, RFDC, I wouldn't be shocked if Alexei finds himself at Triple "A" Charlotte. Then again, Brent Lillibridge hasn't been much better at the plate, and Jayson Nix is more of a second baseman like Chris Getz than a starting shortstop. I actually like what Getz has brought to the ballpark, and seems to put the ball in play. Ozzie wishes he had more grinders like Getz in his lineup...

I miss beardown. I get legitimately worried when one of the regulars stops showing up without a heads up, especially when it's a guy no one knows.

Is Alexi the anti-Fukudome?

OK, Sox fans...What's Ozzie to do at this point? Alexei continues to struggle, Brent Lillibridge's not much better at the plate, and Jayson Nix isn't necessarily a starting shortstop...What's Ozzie to do with #10? :?

Getz 0-5 and took every 1st pitch! Wow that's a real hard one to figure out.Throw it right down the middle on the first pitch cause he is taking.

Isn't that the song for the last Cub century?

The 2008 Sox were 18-20 on May 13th.

Lets see...2007 Cubs-NL Central division Champs
2008 Cubs...NL Central division Champs 97 wins-Best record in their league
2009 Cubs winning record-3 games over .500 even with a mass of injuries.
No Frank, the Cubs are continuing on a positive path that will lead to Championships.

Meanwhile, the Sox are indeed "free falling" losing to even the worst of teams. Their "star" Alexei Ramirez looks like the league has figured him out (I've seen better swings at a condemned playground). Their "star pitchers" are getting lit up far too regularly (Floyd has to be thrilled he signed that contract when he did) and their defense is pourous. Dye's range in RF is about the size of a phone booth, Ramirez looks like a guy better suited to 2B or the outfield (if he can ever start hitting again). Fields still is mediocre at 3rd (at best) and they have no real Cf'er now that Anderson is hurt...and thats assuming he can continue to hit as he was prior to his injury...which is a big assumption. Free fallin....

Just listen to every game, every story, and every time he says anything about anyone....he always uses the phases "the best ever" or "one of the best"..."or the best I ever saw" and then ties some obscur facet to it. It becomes very laughable.

"let me tell you something stone poney, in my opinion, [insert name here] was the best right handed pitcher ever at holding a runners on first when a lefty was at the plate. Now [so & so]...he was the best I ever saw at holding runners on first with a right handed hitter at the plate"

Shut the fuck.
