This is Pitt man. The Sox if they're worth a damn easily take 2.
They'll shake off that 20 run jobber and take it out on the Pirates. trust me, Sox Fans, it feels good to play the Pirates. You'll enjoy it. Look, we have something in common!

Agreed, Darkside, but Zach Duke can chuck it. As embarassing as 20-1 is, its just one loss.

Early on, Floyd looks sharp....especially if he's gonna continue to get that wide of an outside corner

How convenient! This ballgame started at 7:11p, and ended about 9:01p tonight...This is the kind of ballgame Mark Buehrle usually pitches, and I believe he finishes the homestand Sunday. Too bad Ozzie won't be here to see it. I was listening to the Ranger earlier tonight, and Ozzie will take a couple days off to attend to a family matter down in Venezuela. Bench coach Joey Cora will be filling out the lineup card the next couple of days, and may be doing so even when the Sox head out to Anaheim Monday.

Gavin looked good but holy crap is that team a joke. They only have 3 legitimate major league hitters. If the Sox lose one of these next two games I'm going to be really pissed.

Pittsburgh is not that terrible an offensive club. Even with today's game, the Pirates still have a better record than the Sox.

I was thinking maybe leave Gavin out there for the 9th, especially with the insurance run. But man has Bobby been on fire so far.

They fucking suck. If they played an AL schedule they'd be lucky to have double digit victories.

Bobby has been pretty good. Do you think someone would offer the Sox a 4th outfielder for him??

White Sox -vs- Pirates is just one of the many reasons that interleague play should be discontinued.

Kenny might have to throw in a prospect or 2 to get that much value in return.

Nice job at 2nd there turning that DP. Morgan was really bearing down hard, as he should be.

Atta boy Alexei! He looks like a different player at the plate and in the field. Could it be as simple that he heats up with the weather? Dustiny said Cubans don't like the cold.

It is more than likely not the weather, it's the PIRATES dude.

I have empathy, Keyser. Sometimes though, we need to realize what we have on both sides of town, just a big ol' bag of suck.

I'm so mad, Reason. I know I shouldn't be mad because any team that plays Scott Podsednik and Josh Fields everyday is going to suck. They were lucky to win 2 of 3 this weekend. They only scored 9 runs in the 3 games and a better team would have swept them. The sad thing is I'm actually happy that DeWayne Wise is starting his rehab assignment this week. Can you imagine that?? Someone happy about DeWayne Wise returning. Sheesh.......

It fucked up my 4-team steamer. My cousins are in Vegas and I gave them $50 for a baseball bet. I texted them this morning with the Sox, Phillies, Rockies and Royals. I don't think a hug's gonna do it but a lot of beer might.

Jenks sucks, Keyser. Trade his ass outta here for a 5th OF or a backup infielder. Sox could use a starter too...maybe Marquis for Jenks!

Can't blame this one on Big Bob, Frank. I wish he could come through everytime but that's just not going to happen. The Sox should have been up at least 3-4 runs at going into the 9th.
