Here is how they are looking as of today. The guys without salaries for 2010 (Getz, Lillibridge, Beckham, Flowers, Nix, Hudson, etc) are under Sox control and would be brought back around $400,000. There are 6 Arbitration eligible players. (Jenks, Quentin, Danks, Carrasco, Pena, Fields) I also left in Pods, Dotel, Wise and Kotsay just to remind that they are free agents. Arb or trade for Bobby?...how much will Quentin and Danks get in arb?..try to re-sign pods?... My GOD, look at that Rios contract !! It looks even worse when stacked against the rest of the team. ![]() |

Where did you get the number for Rios? Not a big difference but I found: 10:$9.7M, 11:$12M, 12:$12M, 13:$12.5M, 14:$12.5M |

If the economy improves or if his play improves the Rios contract won't look that bad. If neither of those things improve it will look bad but luckily in MLB you can get away with having a bad contract. |

Scott Linebrink at a whopping $5 mil in 2010 and THEN $5.5 mil in 2011. Damn, that's some expensive suck... |
