Again this shows how cluless a lot of these writers are. The players voted him #1, which should carry a lot more weight. |

Bailey won because it's just another case of that hideous east-bay bias rearing it's ugly head again. If he played for a big market team, nobody would notice him. |

Just for the record. I would have put Beckham and Bailey 1 and 2. Either way. Rookie of the year matters not anyway. |

Not winning is 1 thing, but I do not believe for a second that there were 4 rookies better than Gordon Beckham in the AL this year. |

As I said a couple of months ago, I cannot see voting for anyone but Porcello. He'll end up being the top of this class after the respective playing days are finished. |
