I predict 34 homers 112 RBI and a .276 average. I think he finally has confidence after his great performance down the stretch in september.
Also his great postseason. I thought he was a gold glover last year. Maybe now after being on the national stage he will get that recognition.

Maybe, if his back holds up. He is awful young to have a bad back.

I think you're about right on with those numbers if he can stay healthy. I expect his BA to be about .265 though. Anything higher is just icing on the cake for me. For him, defense and clutch hitting are what I'll be judging him on.

Not sure about the 34 homers, but RBI's and average sound about right. I would expect something more like 25 to 30 homers at the most.

112 RBI's for a guy hitting 8th or 9th, barring injuries or lack of performance by a hitter in the middle of the lineup ????

Who do you think is going to have a horrible season from the middle of the lineup ?

So was Scottie Pippen when he began having back troubles, and just look how awful that turned out for the Bulls.....

Scottie's health is a mess. Hope he doesn't die of some kidney, heart, or liver ailment induced by all the anti-inflammatories he has to take.

BD, you make a good point. But I think he will be hitting 6th to start the year. A.J 7th, Uribe 8th, and Anderson 9th. I think he will get off to a fast start and maybe Ozzie will put him 5th and move Dye down. It will be tough for him to get 112 from the 6th hole but I think he will hit better then Dye and get moved up my the end of April.
