Uncle Jerry sensing a big $$$ 3 game v Atlanta not cancelling tonights game, even though looks like a straight line of T storms and a Tornado Warning, not a watch, Warning.

Game's about to start. Looks like the weather is clear from here on out.

Last season, didn't the White Sox cancel a game or two before bad weather had even happened?

If you looked at the radar for last night's storm, there wasn't anything behind the massive storms that hit so I don't blame them for waiting this out, especially since they don't play the Braves anymore this season. You don't want to play makeup games in August if you can avoid it.

It's wrong for the White Sox to want to play a game on the day that it's scheduled?

Apparently. :?

It's called, we don't want to play a doubleheader on the Thursday before the Cubs series when we don't have another off day scheduled until the All Star Break.

Yes. It was that greedy, selfish Reinsdorf waiting an hour and a half to start a game, assuring himself of fans spending money in the park during the delay!

What an asshole!

bigfan must have forgotten how Lance Berkman ran off the field last year because the Astros and Cubs were playing in the middle of a lightning storm.

Or way back to the night of 8/8/88, how they kept the park open late for Cubbies to slide across the moist  tarps and meatheads to drink plenty of Old Style...despite the radar that showed no hope in hell of a game getting in that night.

BINGO! BD has it! Jerry decides if it should be a decent turnout and pushes or cancels games.

Reading a bigfan thread in the Sox folder is like watching an immune system work in one of those The Amazing Human Body educational films.
