Lavine isn't a max player and I'm afraid the Bulls are going to keep him instead of trading him for picks or younger assets. Some bottom feeder will think he can be a #1.

Lavine tops out as the third best player on a title contender. Empty stat guy which will never lead you to the conference finals. Second round is even a stretch.

Because he’s the third best player on a title contender, he won’t lead a team to the conference finals — that’s the #1 player’s job. LaVine would absolutely contribute though.

You do not max Lavine. Let someone else kill their cap and team.

i'll preface this by saying i'm not a huge Lavine fan, but he is shooting 51% overall this year and 43% from 3...its not like he's doing a volume scoring thing like Westbrook or something.

I don't disagree, but I've sunk to the point where I'd like to see anything other than the Bulls getting mopped every so often.

He's Bradley Beal with springs.

yea idk. I guess if the discussion is just "he isn't a #1/max player" i totally agree. But seeing as there are only a handful of those players in the league i don't think that's some huge slam. I think he's a really good player

Hell of a 2nd half. Bulls came back from 25 down. Won by 3.

Lavine was great.

This kid Jeremy Grant, nephew of Horace, lit it up.

Coby White sucked...but came through down the stretch, as did Williams.

Schaefer should be sent to the basketball reeducation camp, as should Bernstein and Rahimi for not calling out this dumbass right after he said that.

Don't look now, but the Bulls are a playoff team. Donovan has them playing well.

Still don't trust Lavine, but yeah they've been playing better recently. That may have to do with the competition too.

Bernsie just replayed a really good interview with Coach Donovan by the morning show. Really nice to hear a competent coach speak about the team.

Down by 22 to the 76ers without Simmons and Embiid.

How does that happen? The players are basically telling management that they should clean house. Get rid of "all-star" Lavine and Markkanen. Please.

Very disappointing game. Getting your ass handed to you by a team without their best players.

I flipped over during the Hawks intermission. I probably hung with it too long.

Another black eye for the franchise, including separate 0-12 AND 0-17 runs in the 4th qtr.

As Tall Midget said in the other thread, what was the reason to have this team in the Tournament of Great, other than Bernstein idiocy?

I watched an entire quarter of Bulls basketball for the first time in a while. It was yesterday's 4th quarter.

See you in another couple of years

NBA, in general, is awful. I can't sidestep it any more. It's now officially a game of chucking.
