Kobe, Lebron, and Kevin Garnett didn't start in college.

All would have started for Florida St.

Their coach was trying to prevent the kid from turning pro like a lot of College coaches do. By bringing him off the bench he hoped the league would overlook him. Good thing "AK 47 is the tool" didn't fall for the banana in the tailpipe move enacted by Hamilton.

I don't want a GM who makes a pick based on what a coach did

You must be a fan of Ryan Pace then.

I know nothing about football. I make up for it with the skilled sports of baseball and basketball.

See I look at it a different way, in that Hamilton coached in the NBA. He started the kid out slowly, and gave him more and more minutes as he earned them. So if he wasn't ready, it was easy to dial it back. But he gave the older players the "honor" of starting even though they didn't finish.

What we don't know is how much Hamilton would have played him in the tournament. Could have easily been 30-31 minutes even without being in the starting lineup.

Out for the season with wrist surgery. Might explain the lack of offensive activity.

Green and Brown Jr are better anyways. I'd like to see them trade for Bagely, maybe a White for Bagely swap?

What would Sacramento want with a bum like Coby White when they have 4 guards that are already better than him? Just Asking A Question CB

What is odd to me is you consider White a bum, but in your eyes, Patrick Williams is a future stud. White may ultimately be a bum, but he has shown he can volume score(albeit inefficiency) . Name one discernable trait of Williams

White probably isn't a fit in SAC, you are right, I still like Bagely as a buy low candidate

For one Williams is light years ahead of Coby White as a defensive player already.

For 2 he has a much higher basketball IQ than Coby White already. He doesn't immediately start jacking up shots the minute he hits the floor nor does he have a ton of stupid turnovers like Coby either.

Coby White plays professional basketball as if he is playing open gym at the Jackson Park YMCA. Undisciplined and selfish. Always chucking and "looking to get his" out on the floor. You can't win with players like that in the NBA.

As far as Williams goes the kid has talent. He just needs to be more aggressive offensively. Maybe he will in time but the injury is a setback

Being 30th in rebounding is gonna make it hard all season and that will have a negative effect on how the offence tries to compensate. We need a BIG power forward that can go 10-12 and 6

Anybody available out there that can do that?

Rebounding I about technique and effort. You don't necessarily need size to accomplish that in THIS NBA.

That may be true but you can’t just will the players you have to suddenly adapt that style of play. Grab a big banger and then see what you have. Otherwise they’re no better than a 2nd round flameout.

No need to trade capital for that. There's an old Taj like guy on the street that can give you that for 15 to 20 minutes. IF the Bulls believe they are further along at the trade deadline, they can then look to make a deal or shop in the buyout market for a Kevin Love type guy.

2nd round flameout is a best case scenario anyway.
