Guy is a championship caliber point guard. He's as tough and competitive as Kobe and Iverson. Can do everything except shoot the ball and he's getting better at that. Kidd became a good shooter. Talking myself into this being the final piece of the championship puzzle. Please ignore every response by ZephMarshack in this thread.

This guys a cancer........he can't shoot after 9 years he'll never shoot,If he shoots 50% from the charity stripe the Bulls should have a parade! Lead the league in assist last year with Cousins....you see a Cousins on this team?Where did that get the Kings? Watching the playoffs with the Bulls,He will eat Da Mayor alive

rondo is like me in regards to katy perry: he has no shot.

i'm surprised the bulls did this. tho i guess it's like "what else were they supposed to do?" both sides of this rondo deal are using each other to try and showcase their shit to the rest of the league in the hopes of attracting others down the road. the bulls aren't going to be anything more than a surprise ~5-8 seed in the east even if they go HAM, so you might as well see if THE FRED HOIBERG OFFENSE(TM) is worth all the fuss/trouble that could see you eventually run all of your key/core/marketable players out of town cuz WE GOTTA GIVE FRED'S VISION A CHANCE!

in the end i just hope we don't bury ourselves in some kind of a 5-10 year hole because we actually believed that fred hoiberg was some kind of basketball genius. jimmy buckets might be a little too big for his britches, but now that rose is gone and you've got a legit pass-first point guard let's see what jimmy can do now that it's pretty obviously his team (unless the bulls really wanna be in the business of FRED FUCKING HOIBERG and thus we gotta pray that he's closer to brad stevens than tim floyd)

I became much more of a casually observer after the thibs fiasco, but is it surprising that rondo only got 14 a year for 1 garanteed? The corpse of Noah got 4 for 72 and there are much worse contracts floating aroun than that.
