Ive laid off this for awhile but may be time revisit it. If Jimmy Butler is your best player and Taj is your starting 4 then your team isn't going to be all that good anyway.

Both have played better than expected this year. They clearly aren't the problem. They may have the worst bench in the NBA and you can't count on Wade to be Wade every night. They needed their bench to help and they can't because Gar Forman can't draft. You can't name a player that Forman drafted that was good. He's constantly drafted people who he or his friends know.

Gibson has, played better than expected but he is a starter playing reserve minutes. He still can't make play for you on offense.

It is,not really about them being a problem as much as it is the roles that their in. The Butler as best player isn't going to place you in contender status. He isn't good enough for that. 2nd or 3rd best player and you are fine. No.1 guy nah. They really haven't been good since that's been the case either. That can't just be about Hoiberg.

I don't blame Hoiberg or disagree about Butler being a #1 but Taj is solid as a starting 4 unless you are looking for him to score 20 points. He's a Haslam type of player.

If he is going to be a starter he has to be able to give you 34-35 minutes a night. If he were able to do that then you don't have to rely on the bench as much.

I guess it would be great to play all the starters on this team more. Gibson is playing pretty much the same amount of minutes as a Tristan Thompson, Andre Drummond and Dwight Howard. Besides PF is a position where we have the most depth on the team. Did you have an issue with Haslem as a starter? Taj is pretty much the same hard hat and lunch pail guy.

You call that depth? PF is probably the Bulls weakest position. There isn't a starter in the bunch.

In his prime Haslem was better than Gibson.

I see Hoiberg's going through his annual get dumped on period by his own players for bad coaching and predictable plays. Forman's "vision" of an inept coach, bad picks, and a bunch of has-beens is coming along nicely!

Rondo just took his 50th attempt this past week so that bet is now locked in. Right now Rondo is 16 of 50 (32%).

If the season ended today, the Bulls would miss the playoffs.

Don't stop now boys!

There's about one month to go this season and the Bulls are currently 1.5 games out of the last playoff spot.

Sharpshooting Rajon Rondo is 32.2% from 3.

My bets with FF might come down to the wire. The Bulls' schedule is April is very favorable. Not a single playoff team in the bunch.
4/2 - @Pelicans
4/4 - @Knicks
4/6 - @76ers
4/8 - @Nets
4/10 - Magic
4/12 - Nets
Lots of bad in there, so things down the stretch might get interesting.

Those are the types of teams that dominate the Bulls.

I'm somewhat stunned I even have a chance at both still. This has been an absolute disaster of a season and they're still close.

What was the exact bet? Just playoffs? I thought it was top 4 in EC.

Didn't see this. Yes I'm down. I agree with DB completely.

Not as high stakes as DB's bet but looking good for me here. Going to have fun with this...

Rondo starting tonight, could bail FF out if he gets hot and plays out the final stretch.

My guy Rondo shooting .340 now! Hopefully he tears an ACL in practice today and locks up one bet for me.

Bulls have that buyout clause in his contract. I'm convinced that he is playing his ass off as a means of picking him up for next season.

Even after yesterday Id say it's almost certainly gonna be a split bet. I definitely won the Rondo bet and I'm guessing there's like a 95% chance they don't make the playoffs even with the easy schedule. I don't think they are even trying to.

Fucker is still shooting over 53% from 3 this month. Nice of him to show up when his season is finished.

Hoiberg kept fucking with him all year long. Hard to find consistency when you go from starting to DNP- CD

Easiest schedule in the league going forward. They should end up at about 42- 43 wins. Hoiberg is doing a better job of coaching and it's obvious that the team is better if Rondo is the primary ball handler.

Hoiberg has shortened the rotation up. No more Paynes or Grants. Valentine also looks like a player. This team should have been a 50 win team. Hoiberg has cost them at least 5 games easily.

Valentine makes shots. It is hard to call a guy drafted 22nd a bust.

MCW is garbage.

why does the fact that he was drafted 22nd matter? People that are drafted in the top spot are busts. You can be a bust from any spot in the draft.

I dont think one can tell yet if Valentine is a bust or a player. He needs more time.
