Has to be soon as there is way he is here next year. Bulls have fired two coaches on Christmas Eve, could we get another? Probably not but my guess is the day before the All-Star break.

I think Hoiberg has a 5 year deal. There's no chance Jerry allows him to be fired in year 2.

Gar needs to go now. Who hands out a 5 year deal to a rookie coach?

He'll get an extension before he gets fired as long as Forman is around. Forman's fate is/should be tied to Hoiberg. He wanted him, he got him, and together they've destroyed the quality of ball we've been used to seeing.

long time guy has come around. The Bulls fans of CFMB are now united.

Changes need to be made.

Gar has to go first. Not sure how a young coach is expected to win without a bench and with high school assistants sitting next to him on the bench.

It's also about how the players don't play for him. Second year in a row he's been called out. Not a coincidence and certainly never a good sign.

I remember reports that there were quite a few people in the draft room who wanted Butler traded for Kris Dunn. They wanted a full rebuild. Those people can stay.

The worst part is signing Wade and Rondo isn't a "going for it all" plan nor is it obviously a "rebuilding" plan. It's probably a sign that there is no plan. At least the Bears are developing players... there's nothing going on for the Bulls right now.

With the prospects the Sox received this year, the Cubs supremacy, and what I assume is the Hawks' stability, the Bulls are probably the least promising franchise in town right now.

We should wager on it.

They spent $75 million on a 31 year old point guard who can't shoot and a 34 year old who decided to come home and get paid. They won't be with the Bulls when it's time to contend for a Finals appearance and they stopped you from getting into next summer's lottery, one of the deepest drafts in a while.

They will be in the lottery this summer.

They suck, don't have any athleticism, and play for an uninspiring, incompetent coach who's routinely and embarrassingly emasculated in public by his high profile players. On what basis do you think they'll make it?

Who said something about Hoiberg this year?

Still early but as of now they're out of the playoffs and only 10-9 vs the east.

Not as dramatic as last year's comments from Butler but Wade called out Hoiberg's offense by saying it was predictable, stagnant, didn't create space, and too reliant on Butler.

Rondo was also suspended for getting in the face of an assistant coach.

Forman has to go. Interesting article by Haugh yesterday which details troubles confronting the Bulls.

David Haugh should shut up when he says "Wade's words should be interpreted..." We don't need a mediocre, overpromoted columnist telling us how to understand the English language.

Anyway Forman is responsible for the crappy roster and the equally crappy coach he brought in to manage the roster.

I don't understand how you all pine for Gar to be whacked or Hoiberg, sure they both suck but Paxson is the reason both were brought in...Paxson is the real problem.

I see four eras of Bulls ball under Pax:

2003-2007: My opinion is this was an overall positive period for the Bulls since they finally recovered from the post Jordan disaster years by becoming a more professional team. Hinrich, Gordon and Deng were good picks. Really bad Ben Wallace signing.

2007-2009: Whatever professionalization achieved under Skiles was almost completely undone by Vinny. Bad choice. Floundering period for the Bulls. Got lucky with Rose. Good pick in Noah. Missed on Tyrus Thomas.

2009-2015: Bulls best period of success since the late 90s.

2015-present: Seemingly directionless. Maybe it is time to go?

In his diatribe Wade neglected to mention that he has looked old as hell the past 2 weeks. Started noticing it during the Minnesota game. Struggling to get back in transition and also struggling to get his shot off.

How's that relevant to his critique of the offense? I don't think it is. You can have good play design even if your starting five is comprised of a bunch of retirees. You seem to discount the critiques of players while supporting the critiques of irrelevant columnists. The players know what's up far more than nerds in the press box.

It wouldn't be the first time that players have made excuses for shifty play. This is not a very talented team. In Haugh's case he didn't just state an opinion he supported it with facts.

After year 3 at the earliest but probably during year 4 of his contract.

Gar/Pax need gone now but won't happen. Pax has a job in some capacity until Uncle Jerry dies.
