Its time. I'm a Paxson guy but he is now going into year 14. If he isn't going to be the sole guy then he needs to step down. The two headed monster thing isn't working. |

The Bears need more fans like Peoria Matt. He is 100% right. The Bears right now are in a worse spot than the 1970s Cubs ever could have been in. Fans get to yell "Da Bears" and "Ditka" and couldn't give two shits in holding the team brass responsible. This is where the Bears fans could usually say "at least we're not the Browns" but I think that is no longer applicable. |

I'm not much of a Lavine fan, but I have to give him props for honesty after Friday's press conference where Paxson blamed injuries for the team's pathetic record this year. After hearing about Paxson's comments, Lavine said, "I don't know if we can blame injuries...we were losing when we had everyone healthy."

I know it would never happen. But it would be amazing if a struggling NBA team packed up and moved to Chicago all of a sudden like the Browns moving to Baltimore on the sneak. Giving Chicago 2 NBA teams. Metropolitan Chicago has a population of around 10 million. Even in the NFL it's a shame the Cardinals left Chicago. The Reinsdorfs and McCaskeys have a captive audience and know it. GarPax would be long gone in a competitive scenario. |
