On right now. I say this knowing full well I look like Ed fucking O'Neill but my god that's a couple of bad looking men. Losing his hair didn't serve Pax well at all. Oh, and there's no change in the heirarchy with the Bulls. The suck fest will continue until morale improves apparently.

Among the changes Chicago is considering, league sources say, is John Paxson reclaiming more of his previous day-to-day control of the team.

I think Pax is just being kind to Gar in front of the press.

A lot of that sounded like an indictment of Hoiberg even though they support him.

That was a load of BS.

Nothing changes. This franchise is screwed for the foreseeable future.

I think Pax is just being kind to Gar in front of the press.

Wasn't this literally one of the main talking points from last offseason? I feel like Pax just says this so if the Bulls are then a success he can take credit, and if they're not, he'll say he's finally considering playing a more prominent role in the decisionmaking.

And it seems like some fans want to go along with it, as Pax is still getting credit for his minor accomplishments years ago while being shielded from much of the blame for consecutive years of failure in the present. I for one am not pining for a return of the Pax era and think he deserves to get canned as much as Gar.

Gar Forman looks like Grandpa Simpson.

I heard The KapMan on W&S yesterday saying a reliable source told him they were going to announce at the press conference that Gar would be taking a reduced role and Paxson would get a promotion and run the team.

Imagine the string of bad luck to hire 3 bad coaches in a row. What are the chances?

Wish I had visited Blog A Bull earlier today. This would have actually made me sit through that press conference!

Wow, what happened to John Paxson? He looks like John Malkovich in that picture.

Both threw Hoiberg under the bus and Paxson pointed the finger at Gar for the recent failures. I believe Hoiberg and Gar will be out next year and I am perfectly fine with Paxson coming downstairs.

It was a terrible press conference. Paxson basically said Hoiberg can't coach but he can't or won't fire him. It reinforces the perception that Reinsdorf is a cheap asshole who doesn't give a fuck if his teams win as long as he's making money.

This team isn't close to winning a championship. It makes no sense to clean house this year. Next year is when Hoiberg and Gar get fired. Mark Jackson will come in to work with Paxson.

It doesn't matter how close or far they are from a title. You don't keep a coach who sucks. You especially don't tell the public he sucks and then bring him back. That's some amateur hour shit. It makes the whole organization look pathetic.

And Mark jackson wouldn't even be an upgrade over Hoiberg. He's a fucking moron who almost ruined Curry's career by trying to heal his ankles with the power of God instead of doctors.

Nowhere. He's probably the best coach available. Seriously doubt that Paxson would hire him.

Curry has been healthy since Mark Jackson healed his ankle with prayer and anointing oil.

Nah we know Jackson can't coach for shit. Get rid of Hoiberg and bring in a guy like Nate Tibbetts or Jarron Collins and give them a shot.

I'd make Randy Brown the head coach so front office-coach communication can improve even more than it has under Hoiberg.
