This kinda seems dopey but it's not like it's the worst sports billboard ever publicly funded.

In and of itself, it accomplishes nothing (except for those that confuse activity for accomplishment, but that's another discussion).

If somehow it picks up some national exposure - and non-mocking exposure at that - maybe it's not entirely pointless.

What say ye?

It'd be better if there were 10,000 of them up across the city.

Dan and Jason already covered how dumb it was for people to spend money on this. IT.DOESN'T.CHANGE.ANYTHING.

Jason then threw in that if someone was going to be fired it would have happened already which quickly shut Dan up.

It's as irrelevant as the Bulls will be for the next 2 years. Unfortunately

What was the final tally over @ /r/chicagobulls? Something like $8.5k raised or something like that.

I don't know. Is it irrelevant that people cared enough to drop almost $10k because they are disgusted with the product being produced, and the BS statements trumpeted in defense of incompetence? One could argue this both ways. X number of people spending hard earned dollars (maybe) to voice displeasure in your product should arouse some level of concern and question a company's internal business practices. However, this is your Chicago Bulls. Pointless indeed.

I wish there were 5k of these in the metro area, and Dan is wrong as usual if he said that... These absolutely have an effect.

The funny thing is, when I listened to the Score years ago, Dan was big on the " Too bad, make more money" when some dope called in and botched about ticket prices for sports teams or concessions.... I would never donate a dime to any charity that dickbag was plugging... Tell em to make more money!
