They won't finish the season 7th and the only reason they are 7th is injury and minutes restrictions. Nothing to do with tanking. They will be contenders barring injury going forward.

You act like Boston, Cleveland, and Toronto have their foot on the gas. They don't. Maybe the 76er's get out of the 1st round. They get waxed in the 2nd.

Can't remember if Detroit tanked in order to draft Zeke but tanking was going on crazy back then. Houston was the primary reason that the lottery system was installed in 85

Boston has built for at least 5 years. Toronto even longer. There is a chance Philly makes it to the Finals before either of them. Particularly Toronto.

You're basically saying that its a failure because they aren't NBA champs in the first year of going for it.

They made it to the Finals with him the first time. They'd never made so much as a Conf finals at any point in their history prior to that.
