You doubled down on fringe NBA player. Not many fringe NBA players are starting for teams that will make the playoffs.

They are if the starter is injured and other fringe guys play the position. Terrence Ferguson currently starts for OKC. This disproves your theory.

Wow, against all odds LTG split the defense and moves in for an attack. Despite the 2 on 1 advantage that was a paltry offensive by BRICK. You have to bring more against a seasoned vet like LTG.

So there's like 200 fringe guys in the NBA then?

Yeah. There are 60 extra spots this year alone.

Etwaun Moore has played in 430 games during his career.

He has started 116 of them. 48 this year alone.

I'm fairly certain that he has never entered any season as anyone's "projected" starter.

I'm also certain that each and everyone of the games in which he has started is due to the fact that the legitimate starter was injured.

The same scenario played out with the Bulls with Brick and Imu bringing out the pom poms then also.

It seems like the Bulls did ok on their return for mirotic in light of where the market went yesterday

Back to back 30 point games for Moore.

Is he a legitimate starter yet?

Moore has been on fuckin' fire this year. It's not really sustainable but it'll be interesting to see how much or how little he ends up regressing as the season goes on.

E'Twaun Moore is filling up box scores simply due to opportunity increases. His skillset did not suddenly improve by large margins. Rick and I have been ahead of the pack on this for years.

MANY players are considered good or great because early in their careers they were given opportunities that included 30+ minutes played and a large volume of shots taken and MANY people mistook those players to be better than they were. I'm not going to name any names.

We accept your MCW apology.

However, in LTG's defense, Moore took a substantial step forward last year in efficiency. This was not something that could have realistically been foreseen his first 3-4 years in the league, and as I said, his numbers this year are extremely likely to regress a bit. If they don't then he needs to start taking Steph Curry type number of 3 pointers per game.

In February of this year, ltg said he would take Tony Snell over him.

I believe much of Moore's improvement can be attributed to playing a season under Hoiberg's tutelage and that this is just another example of how great he's been at player development.

What is the Etwaun Moore debate these days? Is he supposed to be good or simply bettee than what i thought? He still isn't that good. He is the 6th or 7th best player on what IMU termed a bad team.

If you want to say i was wrong i will say yeah i was but he still isn't good.

IMU argues for Etwaun Lance and MCW and Taj then says guys like Carmelo, Cousins, and even Lavine aren't good. There is some incongruence of thought at work there.

You aren't going to get that. Chest thumping because a marginal NBA player exceeded expectations should be unbecoming. I guess not.

LTG took the moral high ground in the last few posts. Interesting twist. Has Rick spinning in circles.

Ok so what is the point? He ascended to a valued role player. Good for him they still need to upgrade at the position. He is still a bum. He is their 7th best player.

Again what is your point? He still isn't that good.

I guess those "increased opportunities" are now a thing of the past. He has been removed from the starting lineup and replaced by Solomon Hill. Only Played 16 minutes last night

Mirotic has also been benched in favor Julius Randle.

When Josh Smith was coming off the bench for Houston, you said it was because he could score a lot and help their second unit, and that it was a good thing for the team. Now that Mirotic and Moore can help the second unit of the Pelicans score some points, it is a punishment. Would you say, perhaps, that you've moved your own goal posts?
