Both moves seemed unnecessary to get these respective deals done, and in this case there was a clear alternative.

You presume that it wasn't necessary. There is no way of knowing that for sure.

Each time Paxson makes a move you counter by conjuring up a better move. Sometimes things are what they are.

If Anyone would have told me that Niko Mirotic could be flipped for a top half of the first round draft pick i'd have told them they were stupid.

You don't cancel this deal over a 2nd round pick. Most 2nd round picks never turn out to be anything more than rotation guys at best.

That's not what happened. The Bulls got the first round pick for taking back a player competing with Noah for the worst contract in the league. Let's not forget that the Bulls traded a first round pick to dump Hinrich's salary years ago.

There are MANY more worse contracts than Asik's and the deal doesn't get done without taking his contract.

And i happened to be right. They can't replace him fast enough and its interesting that he plays the wing position which is exactly what I stated that he was too.

You claimed he is a point. He isn't. He also is a backup. Solomon Hill was going to be the starting 3 this year. He has been out all season with an injury.

Except Moore also started a bunch last year, and he played 820 minutes last season alongside Solomon Hill. The only player Moore shared the court with more last season was Anthony Davis.

So no, Moore isn't only getting a bunch of playtime because Hill is out.

Moore is 3rd in minutes on the team this year and was 4th in minutes last season.

You continued to debate whether he was a point guard even once it was established that he wasn't.

There are a number of other things that i could call you on but what would be the point.

He is only "starting" because Hill is out. Not surprising that you would flip it to mean "minutes".

Being 3rd in minutes while playing the position considered weakest on the team isn't cause for celebration. Total minutes is also a mismoner because guys like Davis and Cousins have missed significant time.

Moore is the weakest guy in the starting lineup.

E'Twaun Moore has played PG in his NBA career. He even started some games at PG for the Chicago Bulls. Currently, he plays SG for the Pelicans. Solomon Hill is a SF.

E'Twaun Moore started 13 games last season in which Solomon Hill was also in the starting lineup at SF, and either Holiday or Frazier played PG.

20% of Moore's NBA career has come at PG. Most notably, he played PG his rookie season with Boston.

edit: He played PG in the playoffs in both of his postseasons https://www.basketball-reference.com/pl ... _pbp::none

When you stated that he ran the point he didn't though. He played off the ball and you continued to claim that he didn't.

You also kept claiming that Thomas and Portis are the same player even when it obvious that they aren't.

MCW is a starting point guard i.e. good point guard in search of a coach.

Lance is good.

Etwaun Moore is a default starter for a team with the worst wings in the NBA.

Jimmy Butler is as good as Tracy McGrady.

I'd love to see what the point guard situation happened to be at the time. 20% doesn't make him a point if 80% of the time he played elsewhere.

The only year that he was listed as a point guard was his rookie year. He avg 8 minutes per game. Yeah you're right he is a point.

IMU should counter that ltg said he was an 11th or 12th man on the bench.

New Orleans has a pretty nice big 3 right now with Davis, Mirotic, and Moore. They might as well just trade Cousins right now.

Think it was more 9th or 10th. Big difference

LTG now finds himself flanked by both IMU and Brick. He's a seasoned veteran of message board arguments, but he will need his full arsenal to navigate out of this one...great 2nd half ahead...

I had him as an 11th man on the Bulls because i believed they had better players. I'd still take Snell over him. That was my original point by the way.
