I'm really liking this team. Lopez can be frustrating and I think we should get something good in exchange for miritoc while we can.... But portis, markennen, lavine, Dunn.. yea we got a core.

Id like to keep Valentine too. I like what he brings. On a better team you would be able to hide him on defense easier and he brings a nice skill set offensively.

Lakers are a tough team without Ball.

Agreed. Actually velentine sometimes looks like he might be an all star. He plays so controlled. Looks light on the feet for his size.

And I was going to say smart player but really all of them seem to be. They lack experience and various skills but I like their general mindset of the game. Hoibal I guess... It's really just matching a format to players. If this works out and they run a playoff team for 5 years or so, it will be hoiberg that has to change his coaching style to fit his aging stars. That is what I'm hoping to see.

I googled it. This is Chicago's fuckin' flag? We couldn't do better than this? Nobody had a better design?

Our flag should be an Eagle scooping up a deep dish pizza or a meatball with his feet. Or a white cop shooting an innocent black guy. Or a black guy shooting an innocent black guy.

But what we have sucks.

you are literally retarded. We have an amazing flag. In the last 10 years the chicago flag has exploded on the fashion scene as a design from everything from bags, hats and basically anything else...including the stylish jerseys I designed for my hockey team 11 years ago as pictured in my avatar.

Holy shit. Missed the Beardown thing because I generally skip over his posts.

An amazing flag? I, as a St. Louisan find it really simplistic. The City of big shoulders with a pale, pastel flag? In a million years I would have not guessed what it was.

And the guy had to be kidding about the meatball shit.

The Chicago flag is way better than the lame St Louis city flag.

It's a beautiful flag. the fact that it has blown up as a design on clothing, tatoos, art etc is pretty solid evidence that most people don't share your viewpoint.

You got that in St. Louis with your flag? Yea didn't think so. Heck, you didn't even know what your own flag is.

So you've been Googling St. Louis stuff, huh?

Like all states the flags change over the years. But that don't mean folks throw out the old ones. St. Louis on the steed will always be the most iconic. Any kid that visits the Art museum in Forest Park is struck by this massive work.

Kudo's to your civic pride. There's MUCH to be proud of in Chicago. As a visitor from childhood to my 30's (Chi relatives) I was always blown away by it.

We had the Muddy Mississippi with garbage barges in it, you got the massive lake with yachts going out as far as the eye can see.

Our art museum pictured in the previous post had a mummy...a mummy made out of paper Mache! You got a Science museum that I had to be dragged from as a kid. Just amazing stuff I remember to this day.

We had busses, you had The El!

We had a snaking, confusing city layout, streets running every which-way. You got a geometric grid.

If I HAD to live in a big City again, Chicago would be my choice, hands down.

All that being said....the flag still sucks.

It’s great that’s St Louis changed their flag from a pretty decent one to a hideous piece of shit.

The Chicago flag, unlike a lot of other things associated with Chicago, is awesome. It lends itself well to uniform designs too.
