Alright guys, here it is!

On NBC Sports Channel. They just did the intro's, ready to start now.

Relive the greatest season in NBA history now!

NBC knows how to put on a show. They are the gold standard with Sunday Night Football and in the 90's they were the same with basketball. ESPN and ABC blow.

I always thought that Blazers team was the best one they beat in the finals. Overall the Cavs in 1989 may have been the most talented to get denied by Jordan and Co.

Kemp and Payton are both all-time greats. Many other very good players on this Sonics team as well. Won 64 games.

I agree on Kemp and Payton and Detlef was solid but the rest of the lineup was meh.

Agree on this. The Blazers were actually favored by Many people to win that particular series. Drexler was a top 5 player in the league at the time. Some had him as high as two. Better at 3 out of 5 positions with a much better bench.

Phoenix was right there as far as opponents go too.

What I always loved about them, particularly the second 3peat team was that could lock up one on one at 4 out of 5 positions on defense. Even Longley was underrated on D. Yep, it always seemed like the announcers would go to break with something along the lines of “the Sonics were 5 for 18 in the 3rd quarter”.
