Ok guys, this is what we been waitin' for:

the chance to play for a title. As Joakim Noah once said, "All we do is win titles. All we do is win titles."

Dickey Simpkins already getting some early minutes here.

Game 2 on now, guys.

NBCSN.

Utah turning the ball over a lot. Lotta wild passes.

Michael looks really tired. But somehow still engaged and scoring and blocking shots.

Hard to believe Utah couldnt take advantage of this tired Bulls team.

hard to believe both Luc and Dennis with 5 fouls each early in the 4th quarter, and Utah couldnt take advantage.

at the time, I was befuddled how the Bulls were able to take the series, and even win a game in Utah.

After 2 games, I'm just as befuddled.

Its easy. As good as the two BIG TIME PLAYERS for UTAH were, Stockton and Malone. The Bulls had better BIG TIME PLAYERS who showed up when the games were on the line and the series were on the line. Looking back at all of the final series those years, even the announcers were freeking amazed by what they were seeing in front of them. Those were great teams that the Bulls beat, not the patsies that about 90% of the NBA is right now. Jordan and company were like all that was great about the NBA back then. Today's NBA is the worst that it has been. To me, it is unwatchable.

Isaiah in the 2nd quarter while Pip was hurt:

"It will be interesting to see what he [MJ] has left at the end of the game because of all the minutes he will have to play"

Only Michael could defy good sound analysis.

it's funny what you can learn from watchin' the parade.

Jimmy Rodgers, assistant/defensive coach. Phil gave him a shout out.

Never even heard of him until tonight.

Turns out was an NBA coach since 1971. Coached Phil Jackson the player at that time. Then ended up working on Phil's staff.

Dude is also from the Chicago area originally. I wonder if he still lives here. Anybody know him personally?

Also thought it was interestin that Frank Hamblin apparently masterminded the defensive strategy for the Jazz, according to Phil on stage. Never knew that. Noone ever talked about that.
