This kid will definitely be a reason to start watching the Bulls again. He is the best player from last week's draft and once the smoke clears he will be better than Kawhi. As far as I'm concerned that's his floor.

This kid has a better handle than Kawhi does right now and he is much more athletic than Kawhi has ever hoped to be. I also think he is an inch taller.

The Bulls have gotten themselves a steal with this one. Thank God Paxson wasn't the GM. He never would have pulled the trigger on this move.

He is not more athletic than Kawhi. Leonard is way lighter in his feet, P Will is stronger and has legs that will get bigger and stronger. He might end up better than Kawhi, but it would be more based on his ability to play a whole season. Leonard can look Jordan-esqe here and there, Pat doesn’t seem that guy at all. He does have those big hands though. Somewhere in a grave Jerry Krause is very pleased.

Kawhi Leonard in on his best day was never as explosive as Williams. Williams can get up off the floor and has that "quick jump" thing that everyone loves.

Skill Wise his handle is better too. Particularly if you want to base it off the same stage of their careers.
Endline to Endline Williams is faster too.

This kid is going to be a special player. I hope Donovan starts him out the gate and plays him 25-30 minutes a game. If he doesn't it might be because they are trying to showcase Otto Porter for trade.

If they give this kid's good minutes to Otto I'm gonna be disgusted. The world knows what Porter is. But I'm hopeful for the kid.

From what i read this sort of kid is the exact sort of player that Donovan came here to coach. Supposedly he was tired of coaching veteran guys most likely to be set in their ways.

He wanted to do more on the developmental side being a college coach and all. The Bulls with their cadre of young players presented the perfect opportunity for him to do exactly that.

This is as interested as I've been in Bulls basketball in probably 10 years.

Basically we are going off the FSU tape and the workout videos which he looked good in for sure. His hand,e looks awesome in the scrimmages for sure better than expected. He does not have the lateral quickness or mobility of Leonard though and he may not need it or may develop that skill a bit more. Anyway I hope your prediction is right, I actually liked the pick on draft night. In the sense that I really didn’t like any of the prospects but he seemed as good as any imho.

BD got convinced by AK to take the job and I am sure this is part of the reason, AK is going to draft the guys him and Billy agree upon (not Dougie). Their vision should prove true.
