Seems like a good deal on the surface but still need a PG or they will remain (at best) a low tier play-off team. If they make another move then I'm fully on board. Otherwise it's just a nice bit of fun before reality sets in. NV is 30 yrs old so they need to fill out the team in the next 2 yrs if they want to be a contender. Maybe with Porter's contract off the books they have an eye on somebody in FA for next season.

seems cheap for a 20-10 guy. what's the catch? slowly but surely they'll get this team built up to a perennial 4-5 seed

He's 30 so he may have 5-7 years left or he may have 2.

I vowed to watch one Bull game this year....perhaps it's time to plan this out now. Seems like a good move.

Two first round picks for a 30-year old? Seems a little steep.

Come to think about it, the Bulls were slotted 10th(if the draft was today) and will only improve now with Vuc, so who gives a fuck about the mid 1st rounder? What a great trade...the Bulls finally got the right FO it seams.

We just blew our chance at the next Marcus Teague or Denzel Valentine.

I see this as the first step in a longer-term plan. I'm willing to be patient. Non plussed and patient.

I guess. Let's hope Vucevic can play at a high level for more than a year or two.

Vucevic is so much fun to watch. It'll be cool to watch the 7 footer do his thing. He's not young, but he's not old either. 2 years left on his deal after this season too. Not like you're stuck with an Al Horford-like contract.

One for the 30 year old, the other to shed Porter and WCJ.

WCJ seems like a nice guy who means we'll and has no idea what the fuck he is doing on a basketball court.

I thought both of their contracts were up at the end of the season anyway?

Now we see if Donovan is all that he's cracked up to be as coach. We've got two all stars, two top 15 scorers in the game. We are light on interior defense/rebounding but this should be a team that gets the 6 seed this year and threatens in the playoffs.

That logic doesn't make sense since Vuc wouldn't be here obviously if the Bulls still had their 2021 pick and therefore he wouldn't be able to improve the Bulls win total. Right now they are between 8--10 in the draft. For purposes of what if you have to assume they would've stayed there without this trade.

So you're giving up a mid lottery pick and an unprotected pick in 2023.

The 2023 pick is also protected.

Both are top 4 protected

If you are the Magic, how do you not get more for an All-Star Center that is perfect for today's game and has a very friendly contract? And the one cost-controlled young player the Bulls sent over is a bust(WCJ)...They got fleeced.
