Yeah Donovan let him run some point last year and he actually demonstrated that he can pass too. Much better than I had ever seen him do. He has always tried to play defense but I think he lacked strength and his instincts were terrible. He would give effort but there was always something missing from that part of his game. He has gotten better though.

You know I am not a Lonzo guy but he is a much better defensive player than I ever thought that he would be. He fits in well with this squad.

LaVine has averaged 25 shooting 47% the last 3 seasons. He’ll will make his 2nd All-Star team later this year and just might get MVP votes too. Im so in to the NBA again now cuz of this team. Ordered League Pass again for the first time since i think around 2017-2018 or so. It’s a shitload of fun having at the bare minimum a decent nba team to root for again. Ive never been a championship or bust guy
