Yes it is. It’s very weak. Lonzo is not going to be the main piece in a trade that gets you Dame. Coby is a bench player at best. PWill completely unproven. Those 2 first round picks would be in the 20s.

If Dame is available they’ll get at least 10 offers better than this one.

I didn’t say it was necessarily strong. What did the Rockets get for Harden though? Chris LeVert and a bunch of picks. Once a player makes it clear he wants to go somewhere and forces the issue, equal value is not coming back.

Also, you don’t know what 1st Round picks in 2025 and 2027 will look like. How can you say those will be in the 20s? We’re 4 and 6 seasons away. That’s an eternity in the NBA.

While I believe the front office likes what Lonzo can do, I feel the $20 million dollar price allows flexibility in needing to send value and most importantly money back in a trade for an elite player.
