The Bulls are stuck.

Realistically, they are probably going to resign DeMar to a deal that will probably end up bad as he ages and attempt to trade LaVine. A team like Sacramento, which is lacking scoring power outside of Fox, and may lose Monk, could be a fit, but, no matter the team, there's not going to be anything in return of value except another team's spare parts.

Nobody wants to see Patrick Williams leave and become a reliable player elsewhere, but should they have him $20M+ to underachieve?

They are going nowhere fast.

Realistically, they should let DeMar walk or do a sign/trade, trade LeVine for cap relief (maybe they get bad deals that are a year less than his deal), move Caruso for draft picks and decide on Williams value.

I don't expect them to improve the roster as much as remain about what they are.

Did AK say whether Ball is expected to be ready to play Day 1 next season?

I think I have heard he is 4-5 months away from participating in full contact/scrimmages, going back to early April. Ball is going to pick up his player option, but the Bulls can get salary cap relief ($21M) if an independent doctor says his injury is career ending. I do not think that's realistic so they would probably hope for the best that he can contribute, but there's no way they can count on that.
