i've always liked ben gordon. that being said, i've always been well aware that he has trouble handling the ball...so my question is WHY THE HELL IS BEN GORDON HANDLING THE BALL SO MUCH WHEN YOU HAVE DERRICK ROSE??!?!?!

there are two possible reasons for this:

1. ben is doing this by himself...hogging the ball...while this is a possibility, why hasnt Vinny done anything to combat this situation? i would assume that if ben was doing this and disregarding the coaching staff, he would be benched...he has yet to be benched, which leads me to believe that this means....

2. the plays are being called to be run through ben gordon. if this is the case, then holy shit, is this coaching staff retarded.

also...how do you have Lindsey Hunter out there so much shooting three pointers? did we just pick up LeBron James? no...he's fucking Lindsey Hunter! stop treating him like royalty.

jesus christ, this team is brutal.

At one point last night, the Butt-nuggets scored, and someone in-bounded it to Rose. Rose proceeded to move the ball up the court, when suddenly Gordon came over to him, still in the back-court, and asked for and received the ball. He then dribbled the ball in past the free-throw line, and immediately dribbled the ball off his own leg, leading to a fast break for the Nugs.

From now on, when Gordon asks for the ball in the back-court, Rose should just refuse. That said, Gordon was the Bulls' leading scorer last night.

It's amusing to see how Rose is already the player the other team plans to stop. You can tell opposing coaches are telling their players to not let Rose beat them.

The Bulls gave the Nuggets all they could handle, but stopped scoring with about 5 minutes remaining, and Denver went on an 18-2 run to finish the deal at the Pepsi Center. If the Bulls had a more productive frontcourt than Tyrus Thomas & Joakim Noah, and if Luol Deng's hammy was better, maybe the Bulls escape Denver with a win...I have a bad feeling tonight's game in Utah might be a carbon copy of the disaster in Portland. This despite Carlos Boozer & Deron Williams likely sitting this one out due to injury. WCIU 26 "The U" has it at 8p tonight...

if ben is doing it on his own, i dont understand why he isnt benched...i'm sure that they'd get the same general production by switching out Gordon w/ Hughes - that being said, will Hughes be much different than Gordon?

all that being said...if this is proof that the coaching staff cannot control their players, this is really bad.
