that's not exactly a ringing endorsement

he's interchangeable with a million other mediocre backup point guards

I'm sorry - how many teams can claim to have four all-star guards?

Well, it was over multiple threads.

I believe it all started when I said that Moore would be a solid contributor for the team and long time guy said he wouldn't be one of the top 10 players on the team.

Sorry for talking about a disagreement that now has more clarity.

Since February 1st -

30.7 Minutes, 50% FG% on 11 attempts per game, 50% 3P% on 3 attempts per game, 3.2 REB, 3.0 APG, 0.8 STL, 0.5 BLK, and only 1.4 TOV and 2.6 PF.

He could start for most of the league.

who cares if he got time or not ? he's a nobody
space filler

on a good team he'd be like a 10th man

Disagree. He is fine as the third or fourth guard on a team. He can be a regular rotation guy on a good team.

The Bulls' problem is the fluctuating skill of the guys in the regular starting lineup not named Jimmy Butler. On a healthy Bulls team, Moore could easily take the role of a guy like Brooks or Snell and outperform them both.

Etwaun Moore is playing better than I thought he was capable of playing. There are a number of third or fourth guard types that I'd rather have than him though. Kyle Lowry dropped 33 on him last night. Let us not forget that. Merely saying he is better than Brooks and Snell isn't really saying much. They both stink. I did have both rated higher than him at this point last season but to be honest they both outperformed him last season. He is better than either this year and I honestly think that Brooks is on his way out of the league after this season. He couldn't be a 6th or 7th man on a good team but he could be about the 9th best player.

He has definitely leap frogged Snell and Brooks. Neither may be on the team next year but as it stands now he would be in the top 10 of the rotation even if the Bulls were fully healthy. You were right in this instance. Brooks has really regressed and Snell was a miss. On a good team he is no better than a 4th guard though. If I were to scour the rosters of the top ten teams in the NBA, i'd be hard pressed to place him in the top 3 as far as guard rotations go.

No. If Moore is starting for you, your team is fucking trash. Bagels is correct here, as usual.

John Wall is taking Etwaun Moore's ass out. This is what we used to call on their playground a "takeout". Kyle Lowry last game and now Wall. Now we are about to see why he is a fringe guy.

When E'Twaun Moore was on the court tonight, the Bulls beat the Wizards. Moore was a +4...the only positive on the team.

You can't argue with points.

"eye test" told me this. In that third quarter when Washington broke the game open his sorry ass was on the court and being dominated by John Wall. The +- isn't going to show that but he got his ass tattooed and the game was effectively over from that point on.

Since Etwaun Moore began receiving starter's minutes. His +/- has been positive 8 times and negative 13 times. In your basketball world that should make him a bad basketball player shouldn't it? I am pretty sure that this will be casually ignored also. I don't know how tonight's game will be factored in because I didn't check for tonight's game. even with that it is still just nine.

This is but another of the stupid ass posts that go unchallenged unless I challenge it. You are talking about a +- rating when the guy that he was assigned to put up a triple double. You are talking about +- when by the announcer's' account John Wall dominated the game.

Always remember the term "credible poster". It will live in infamy (message board that is)

I pretty much knew this without checking but I needed to verify so I wouldn't be accused of lying. John Wall's +- was +38. That was Etwaun Moore's assignment

Actually...that is exactly what +/- shows. And it shows you're wrong.

John Wall played 39 minutes.

E'Twaun Moore played 20 minutes.

Based on both of them being on the positive side of +/- it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Wall must have done most of his damage in the other 19 minutes.

This isn't rocket science. This is second grade math.

Unless you want to make the argument that John Wall scoring points actually took away points from his team's score. I'm not sure I've ever heard of that happening before but anything is possible. I did miss some of the second half of the game.

Apparently you are. Instead of a multi you are probably a damn robot or something. Data input data output. Watch them games and you will be able to add more value. The game was blown open in the 3rd quarter. Etwaun Moore was guarding Wall at the time it occurred. He was thoroughly dominated during that stretch. They game was effectively over after that.

You never can provide any details from any games. It's always Stat crunching. It's one of them main reasons I stopped listening to the score. It's obvious that you don't watch games much.

This guy isn't good because his plus minus isn't that high enough. What the hell is that. Etwaun Moore shot 1 for 4 scored about 2 points got his assistant pimped on defense and yet he is a winner because he has a +4 rating. Get a clue about sports.

The funniest thing about this entire exercise is that you think that because a few guys on a message board fail to call you out for stupid shit like this that somehow that qualifies you as somewhat knowledgeable. This is known in logic as "argumentum ad ignoratio". Maybe you can have someone explain it to you.

Oh, an All Star scored on Moore? Shocking.

Let me guess. Steph Curry also would outperform Moore?
