I feel as though on some level I've been hoodwinked, bamboozled, and led astray. This is a victory by the most technical of technicalities. Even you won't really be savoring this victory will you?

Something tells me that the demise of Etwaun Moore's Bulls career is imminent. I think Aaron Brooks may be able to overtake him tomorrow but that would leave him 10th. Hinrich overtakes him by the 31st or 32nd game. That got damn Dunleavy screwed everything. He was supposed to be back from injury a lot sooner.

I'll be savoring it.

I'm just glad he got some time in the NBA. Hopefully he can work his way back into minutes somewhere. If not, go to Europe and get paid.

Yeah he should be good. He deserves to remain in the NBA as an end of the bench guy. He has played well enough to stay in the league. On a losing team he could be an 8th or 9th guy. My problem was not so much with him as it was Thibs. He was garnering between 15-20 minutes a game while other guys were being benched. Victory appears to be yours on this one.

Again...another mistake of Hoiberg's.

There hasn't been one time where I've said "E'Twaun Moore is the problem with the Bulls on the court right now."

That type of player should get more minutes.

A D-league caliber player playing well against other D-league caliber players. Only you would find value in that. He did receive minutes early in the season. That's why they decided against him receiving minutes later in the season.

He's a good guy to have at the back of your bench.

He was just a body. Moore can give you energy if needed. Every good team has an effort guy like that. He's serviceable.

They were running isolation plays for Moore in OT. At this point, the Bulls #1 offseason priority should be locking up E'Twaun for a multi-year deal.

Don't look now but Taj Gibson and E'Twaun Moore have the two highest FG% on the team. E'Twaun Moore is also the leading three point shooter at 48%.

His Per36 stats are extremely healthy at 11 Points, 3.8 Rebounds, 2.0 Assists, 1.1 Steals, and only 1.5 Turnovers.

Butler, who is a star, has 21.7 Points, 4.8 Rebounds, 3.9 Assists, 1.7 Steals, and 1.9 Turnovers.

Tony Snell...the guy LTG wants to play over Moore whenever possible?

38% FG, 39% 3P, 10.2 Points, 5.6 Rebounds, 1.5 Assists, and 1.7 Turnovers. Dat negative A:TO ratio tho'

What happened Fred?

I think it didn't take Fred long to find out what others before him have. Etwaun Moore is a fringe NBA player that should be happy to have a roster spot.

Well I posted from CSN Chicago and you ignored it.

So, is Moore still a fringe NBA player?

Yes he is actually. Only receiving minutes by default. I'm actually disliking Brooks more than he these days.

The Bulls need to re-sign E'Twaun Moore

A surprise starter when Jimmy Butler was a late scratch with a swollen left knee, Moore picked up where he left off during Butler's previous 11-game absence. The steady veteran delivered 16 points, seven assists and zero turnovers while playing strong defense.

Moore will be an unrestricted free agent this summer and has turned into a reliable, two-way combo guard that the Bulls can ill afford to lose.

ltg, what do you think Moore would command in the offseason? Or do you think it'll be a meaningless measurement of his value compared to what's in your head.

He has played himself into a 2 year deal somewhere. i would have to see him for the rest of the season though. I'm not really sold on the guy but I'd rather see him on the floor as opposed to Brooks. Brooks stinks.

So long time guy, can we officially end this discussion on whether Moore will be a solid contributor for the Bulls?

Was Thibs right to give him some time last year?

who cares if he got time or not ? he's a nobody

on a good team he'd be like a 10th man

Disagree. He is fine as the third or fourth guard on a team. He can be a regular rotation guy on a good team.

The Bulls' problem is the fluctuating skill of the guys in the regular starting lineup not named Jimmy Butler. On a healthy Bulls team, Moore could easily take the role of a guy like Brooks or Snell and outperform them both.
