I understand transitioning away from Foley but are they transitiong away from olczyk also. They put these 2 dopes on together and its just a bad listen. If you just replaced Foley but kept Eddie I think it would be much more tolerable.

Its a big hole but they are trying. I glanced at the box score and saw they are only 2 pts behind the team they beat tonight. Now I haven't looked at the standings so Vancouver might be just above the Hawks who are just above the Coyotes who are just above nothing.

The Hawks are ahead of the Canucks, Kraken, and Coyotes, and unfortunately there's a big gap between the Stars (.500) and the Hawks (4 under). Maybe they can make it sporting. Who knows.

I don't think so but it was strange that Olczyk was in the studio and not in the booth. Maybe had a game either Saturday or today which prohibited travel? Not sure, but it was very strange that he was not in the booth doing color.

I didn't have much of a problem with the PBP guy. Hockey PBP doesn't have to be as good as the radio, of course. I thought he was fine (Q speak). I just don't like Cohen as analyst. I think he has pretty good insight, I just don't like the sound of his voice. EDIT: Both were much better than that crew that ESPN+ had doing the game a couple weeks back. That was about as bad as it can get.

If they hire Weideman to do TV, assuming he does want to do TV, that solves one issue but causes another as they'll have to find a radio guy, which is much harder to do IMO.

Sorry I was late to this --- glad you got it. I have used it for I think at least 2 years. Very rarely if ever any problems. There is a similar feed for MLB and NFL. MLB works fine too but NFL can get buggy, maybe because of more viewership?

And Hawks' brutal announcing continues. I guess all of you guys who complained over the years about Foley and Edzo are getting what you asked for.
