Looks like they are bottom-six guys for that team. The first round picks make it a good trade.

To do that they might have to dump assets. Okay.. Probably not but that was such a dumb trade and sign. Were just cleaning out the bad and long contracts to do that.. Just... Dumb.

Connor Murphy to LTIR. Probably ends his season.

Hawks wasted no time getting new blood on the ice. Vlasic and the 2 guys they just traded for all skating today.

Rent out his cap space for some retained salary in a three way deal, and get a draft pick out of it.

I like how it was so boring that Foley and Edzo spent pretty much the entire second period talking about the Hawks-North Stars rivalry of the 80s.

at least with it being Foley's last road game for once this year they were celebrating Foley more than Fleury.

Carpenter traded to Calgary for a 2024 5th and a team dinner from Portillo's.

Will be odd to watch games next year without Pat, remember well listening him do the Sunday night home games on WBBM back in the day, games certainly will not sound the same without him.

well, at least it makes Fels happy he'll be gone.

seriously though. I've never seen such a prick with an axe to grind for no reason than Fels vs Pat Foley's employment

He's barely been here this year. Every time he's not I spend half the broadcast thinking this sucks.

Maybe he'll go broadcast for the Wolves like he did after the Hawks fired him in 2006 before rehiring him in 2008.

I have a theory. I think I've expounded on it before.

Toews was trending on twitter.

https://chicago.suntimes.com/blackhawks ... other-team

I don't know what ligma sports is but they say he demanded a trade. I don't see it anywhere else yet. Also saying "Numerous sources telling me a blockbuster trade has been agreed to which will be sending Chicago forward Patrick Kane to the New York Rangers more to follow. "

Cool. I've wanted Kane to get traded for a while. I would love to see him on a contender. He has a second act for the next 5 years. Put him on a contender where he doesn't have to do the heavy lifting and watch him thrive. Would have loved for him to of gone to Colorado and play on their 2nd line. Toews? He's cooked.

That has to happen in the off-season, if true; trade deadline already passed.

Ya, the deadline is long gone. I can't imagine they have a trade worked out for the offseason. It would be cool to see Kaner with the Avs but I am fine with him staying and I am fine with them getting rid of Jones and fixing Stan's monumental fuck up.

Good luck with your future team Toews. You are bottom 6 at best now. If you weren't on such a shitbag team that would be far more apparent. I love Hagel and I watched him play for Tampa and while its only been 2 games he does not stand out like he did here. That is probably because everyone on Tampa works and everyone is good. The hawks have had a problem with talent and effort for years.
