That win last night was all Crawford.

Another horrible showing by our defense. 43 shots against.

A pretty horrible showing by the offense too for most of the night.

Koekkoek is a terrible hockey player.

I uncaringly assume anybody who is number 68 really wanted their number to be 69 but were too embarrassed to do it and just went with 68.

4 game road trip starts today.... all against really good playoff teams. :x :x Panthers have been slipping a bit lately, but Tampa, St. Louis and Dallas are all on fire. I say we come out of this with 2, maybe 3 points at best.

HOF player, amazing career but I do not need to hear the announcers constantly blow Keith. He has been fucking terrible in most of the games I have watched him play recently. I do not care if you know exactly where you should be and what you should do when you are so damn slow that you can not get there anymore. He can not continue to log the most ice time like he has been. Maybe he is better if you significantly cut it but right now he is killing them.

DeBrincat has been disappointing this year too. He's getting the same ice time as his first 2 years, and his shots on goal are actually UP from his first 2 years, but his shooting % is more than half of his first 2 years. 19% last year and 9% this year.

LFG Stan. You have 15 minutes to unload the dumpster and so far you have gotten late round picks for Gus? Surprise me with a Keith trade already.

So Stan pretty much re-acquired the picks he used to get a retiring Shaw who played like 10 games this year, and a guy to help persuade Mitchell to sign before he becomes a free agent. I wish Keith would have waived his NTC to go be a on a 3rd pairing somewhere that he could win instead of making us watch him deteriorate into oblivion on the 1st damn pairing.

The Hawks also did jack shit with their LTIR cap space. Why the hell not eat a few bad contracts for some picks or prospects? They probably could have traded for Bogosian and gotten a late pick. Can they sign anyone to an extension right now and blow up the signing bonus with that money to keep average salary down of said contract?

Does anyone really care at this point? I mean, outside of CH and his diehard hockey ppl, of course.

People shouldn’t care and shouldn’t expect any playoffs for the foreseeable future.

If I was Kane, I would want out. Is he really content to spend the rest of his productive career not playing any playoff hockey? Or is he banking on signing somewhere else once his contract is up?

Surprised they didn’t (try to) get anything for Saad, but I guess another down year fucked any value.

As much as I hate to see Lehner leave for next to nothing, he was pretty much useless here until we fix our defense, and that will take much longer than any contract would have been for that we offered him.

Foolish no trade, long term contracts keep this team firmly anchored near the bottom of the NHL.

I will listen on the stream if it happens to be on, but I have stopped caring about the outcome and perfectly content to drift off to sleep during the second intermission.

Ricky will never approach 88 about a trade because of how his father traded so many players including Roenick. But even if 88 asked for a trade, it would take 5 years of a new GM to get to the point where they'd even be a consistent 4 seed.

I would not blame him one bit. There is no way we will be contenders while his career is still relevant.

kane will be 34 years old when his contract is up....that's another 3 full seasons wasting away with Blackhawks where he will not be competing for the Cup.

Tough to say, but I cannot for the life if me imagine he's ok with that.

Unless it is like Towes to Winnipeg or Kane to Buffalo to go "home" I do not get some of these takes. They won three cups and are rich living as legends forever in Chicago. Why you think they would be unhappy because they are not chasing cups elsewhere is a little wrong I think.

Because they're competitors....and they're not competing. The organization is an absolute Clusterfuck.

You may be right...they may be fine getting their 10 million a year and coasting on the 3 cups they have on their resume. I just know greats like Jordan and Brady....no fucking way they'd settle for that.

Kane is still an absolute monster on the ice.....he is the one I could say saying "enough already. I want to win". I wouldn't blame him one bit.
