I think he's saying that it is embarrassing for a conference's top seed to be shut out for nearly 4 whole periods on home ice in the first round of the playoffs. I have to agree.

The powerplay is an embarrassment so far in this series.

The Preds are way more aggressive and look to want this game more than the Hawks.

But a lot of hockey to play. That can change quickly.

He's been calling them embarrassing, quitters, losers and worse for the last 7 years during which they have won 3 championships.
I wish I could find it but once I compiled every *sky is falling" post this goof made while I was watching the championship celebration he said wasn't coming. It was like 40 frigging quotes long. Some intrepid reader might be able to find that (I want to say it was in the shootouts section).
It just goes to show he's a goofy fucker.
I know he knows hockey but he has a massive blind spot with this team. It's quite stunning.

That inarticulate pothead captain had better show up.

Most Hawks fans have a blind spot with the entire fucking NHL.

I can't see how Nashville can keep up this physical pace. They are on everything and hitting it hard. Been a while since I've seen such an aggressive penalty kill.

I don't think there's a less knowledgeable fanbase in the league, taken as a whole, than ours. No one can give any other team any credit because they don't know who's on the team or in some cases where the team's city even is. It's the curse of the casuals.

Toews and Keith have been atrocious. This series may well be over.

There is no way you can make this statement with any type of certainty. You are simply throwing shit at the wall.

Okay, start with all seven Canadian teams having smarter fanbases than ours, add Boston, Philadelphia, and the Southern teams where there are only 10,000 fans and they're all nerds. AT BEST, we're in the middle.

87 minutes of shutout hockey and counting. The Blackhawks have such a low floor. No one can quit harder than they do.

In 2015 you called them quitters in every series.

Why are you getting mad at me? I'm not lying. You called them quitters for almost 2 full months then they won the cup.

The Blackhawks are done as a contending franchise. The window closed after 2015 as I thought it did all along; this season was just smoke and mirrors. Start dismantling.

Would Captain Cannabis accept a trade to the Avalanche? He has nothing to offer us here.

You said the window was closed during the ducks series in 15.
And prior to that as well.

Good then find something else to do for the rest of the series.

Evidently I'll be joined by the Chicago Blackhawks.

Toews is such a fucking piece of shit. All he cares about is his next bong hit, and with the money he makes, why care about anything more? Run this asshole out of town this summer. He's Dustin Brown with Canadian citizenship.
