it is going to be beyond hilarious when Coach Q leaves this shit show

junior Bowman trying to play hard ass, pissing off the best coach the hawks have ever had, thinking he is his daddy

I rarely agree with David Haugh, but he is balls on in wednesdays paper, all this is gonna do is quicken his exit

for more money from LA, NY, Islanders, Vancouver, or any team that will pay him

and his first hire will be kitchen

nice job, shit for brains, did your daddy tell you to do that, lil Bowman

I am not saying Q is a bad coach, I just think he is stubborn and unrealistic at times.

He really doesn't like playing rookies but was forced this year to do that. He gets hung up in this grit, when the team is not that. I don't think he is going to adjust well, with all these rookies. And it is not 100% his fault. Stan has made some bad signings of current players and given out a lot of NMC's.

Q ain't all that.

This loss falls just as much on his shoulders as it does on the players. Q's love affair with certain veteran players has always been his Achilles heal and it has cost us in the past and it definitely cost us this year (see: Oduya)

Agree with Shakes and Cashman wholeheartedly. Q is a great coach, but he has stuck with veterans and overplays Keith all regular season. If I hear greasy goals one more time, I am going to lose my shit. He has highly skilled players that have no interest in standing in front of the net.

As always, show me an NHL coach who doesn't overplay veterans. If you give a coach veterans, he's gonna ride them. Even guys who have profited from young elite talent -- Babcock, Laviolette, Sutter, Quenneville -- will do so while allocating too much time to older players.

And so the real crisis point with Quenneville isn't who's playing when but rather the possibility that he's lost the dressing room. Q has covered a multitude of sins by getting his players to put aside the drama and play hard for him when it matters. This year, they emphatically did not. That's alarming and makes you wonder whether they've quit on him.

It still sickens me to think about that Preds series. And I had such high hopes with more depth than prior runs. Toews cannot be the best captain if he can't get those guys to at least play hard. I can take a first round exit like the Blue series last year. It was great entertainment and was tied in the third period of game 7.

I am hurting bad as I watch the second round of the playoffs.

Coyotes seemed to like Samuelsson, iirc.
