Boston's radio announcer took the TV gig in Las Vegas (where the main cable provider still does not carry their RSN), so Judd took the open spot in Boston.

JUDDLEY ! MY GUY! Wroked with HFC and WOLVES for Long Time, good HAWKEY guy, great Producer ! big part of OLD SCORE 820! some, FRANK, might not appreciate that?

Happy for him. Happy he is gone. I think he is a decent pbp guy but I hated him in his WGN role.

I thought he was okay. He was better than Jesse Rogers, which reminds me that Judd did wraparounds for nine years with very very little fill-in work in that time. That's a long time to have a job that I always thought had a real up-or-out character to it. I did think he was out of his element doing Cubs games, but his play-by-play was still better than Coomer's.

Chris Boden gets the job now.

Is this what you would term "back-handed compliments"?

Good guy IRL.

Never thought he was anything more than a voice managing radio traffic in his pre and post game jobs.

 He's really not dead, as long as we remember him.
