Second half of the back to back. I think they're going do like in the old lever action table hockey games and wheel out a statue of PK Subban and drop the puck through a slot in the top of his head instead of the scoreboard for the opening face off .

Let's hope the loss made General Saad mad, and he goes off again.

Carey Price is bound for the Hall but their forwards blow. If a well-rested Crow can shut them down, we should be able to eke one out and take 3/4 on the trip.

Love watching games from Centre Bell, what fun it would be to see a game there.

I always love hearing the PA in French. I can't speak of lick of French, but I still love it.

Gotta love the Franglish public address (judging from YouTube, the Colisee de Quebec didn't even bother with English) and the goofy end-of-period siren. Bring back the blue kickplates, though!

I think they're hung over, and the return for Hjalmarsson is a healthy scratch tonight.

Who the hell are these bland broadcasters on NBCSN? I'm seriously considering switching over to the TSN feed.

Don't sit in the upper level, when I went just after they opened, it was so vertical I could barely see the ice, and I had a 4th row seat between the blue lines.

DeBrincat's goal was a fucking seed.

In Quebec they must believe high and close is better than low and far. The upper deck of the new Centre Videotron is so steep that every row has to have a railing. Maybe one day they'll have an NHL team again.

DeBrincat's goal was a beauty but the Saad goal was just pure imposition of will. I enjoyed both.

I tuned in just in time for the two goals. Great that the kid got his first at the Bell Center. Saad is going to have a huge year!

You've got the Habs, and you've got the HabNots.

These are the latter.

We are streaming ... no texting or SEXting.

That said, I presumed if it was NBCSN that it wasn't on locally (which I thought was quite bizarre this early in the year) .... I think I found a decent enough CSN stream now ... thx.
