Of course I’m talking about the anti Kaepernick , a black athlete that white people love to fetishize , who by the sheer greatness of his hockey skill and even better personal character has changed tens of thousands of attitudes and made white America consider letting him move into their neighborhoods with a minimum of cross burnings. Please welcome PK Subban back to our fair city !!!

Interested to see how the new lines work out. Love Hayden moving up and Hartman moving down. The Forsling/Seabrook pairing is going to be a mess.

Toews, Saad, Debrincat
Schmaltz, Kane, Panik
Anisimov, Sharp, Hayden
Bourma Wingels Hartman

Keith Rutta
Forsling Seabrook
Kempny Murphy

My. Guy

(after Schmaltz did the heavy lifting...).

Hawks dominant in the offensive zone so far. Rinne keeping Perds in the game.

They are really slow to react out there...at least that's what it looks like from the 300 level.

This team is pretty bad.

Now 5-4-2.

Still early, but how long before we start hearing rumblings of Q's chair getting warmer?

All I saw was the three goals Giangreco just showed ... is Crow not doing well or am I extrapolating too much from too little?

Don't really follow the Hawks in the regular season. Only info is from callers on Grobber's show.

One guy called yesterday saying the team is great but their defense sucks. He wanted them to go resign Bufflyn.

I was surprised to hear that their D is bad. Are guys like Keith and Seabrook over the hill now?

Keith was 100% responsible for the first goal against. Seabrook is totally finished.

Rinne went 43/44 which I guess at first glance there's not too much you can do about, but a lot of those were the Blackhawks' signature lobs to the chest that the goalie could watch the whole way.

Trying to look on the bright side, at least the Hawks are not peaking at the beginning of the season as they have been wont to do under Q. Crawford is playing well.

But, they need some of these kids to step up and put the puck in the net and it would be nice if Q would settle on D instead of swapping guys in and out (which won't happen...).

Tough to watch the D men play so poorly. When Rinne is on, not much you can do.

I was in favor of replacing him in the offseason. Better to be a year too early than too late.
