It is close to being a complete shit show, and I am about done with them. Fire Bowman and Joel.

The only Canes game I am worried about tonight is for the Irish.

The Hurricanes suck too. They take lots of shots but almost all of them are bad. If the Hawks can't get a win in McMansion Hell tonight, they may as well tear it all down for the year.

I am not doing the hot take jump off the bandwagon like a lot of you losers; however, I am not terribly optimistic about the rest of the season.

I will watch tonight until I don't feel like it.

I can work with that.

I am not going to stop watching regardless of their play since I love hockey and there are not a lot of other options. We get the American, big city teams on NBC Sports and that is it for me. Maybe I need to start paying attention to the free games streamed on Yahoo. So I will keep watching just about every Hawks game.

This is my plan. But it might be on the small screen. Mostly because I think it’s an 8.3 (local pick up of WGN games) and I’ve never hooked up the bigger screen to antenna.

At least it has a 6pm puck drop going for it.

Why is Schmaltz at a wing?

Ya know, as I'm watching this game, this team is flat, flat, flat, and lazy.

I'm as big a Q fan as there is, but are they just tuning him out at this point?

This team is a shitshow. Time to fire Joel Trestman.

People talk about how the NHL season doesn't matter and how the beginning of the year doesn't matter, but the truth is that the playoff field barely changes between Thanksgiving and the end of the year. Therefore, the Hawks are finished.

If you replace Quenneville, who coaches this team and makes them better? Kevin Dineen? Or are you just looking for a punitive firing to feel good about?

You're not going to rebuild with Quenville.

This is painful. I’m actually doing my paperwork instead of watching closely. And as I say that they score.

DeBrincat's 2nd goal makes it 3-2 'Canes

Quenneville must have lit into them during one of the breaks. Some adjustments are needed, but Q will get this ship righted. Trust him.

Teams/coaches make adjustments on the fly, so do fans in their player/coach evaluations.

Vive le Quenneville

Far too many hockey dopes than there used to be. CH is NOT one of them, for the record.
