Forsberg in goal. I will be happy with a loser point.

I'm still irate that Colorado trading Kyle Duchene to Ottawa wound up with Nashville getting Kyle Turris. Forsberg ain't NHL material, this one could be over fast.

Not much on the out-of-town scoreboard that's germane to us except you'll hope for Long Island to beat Vancouver (tied at 1 right now) and, begrudgingly, for Dallas to lose to the execrable Vegas Golden Knights.

I don't care; I still think it's not a goal.

these guys really like Gustav Forsling. Sharp got away with a brutal-looking high stick to some pred's grill at the end of that period.

Rinne is getting too old and too degenerative-hip-y to keep goalieing us like this.

I'm starting to warm to Forsling; he seems to improve as he gets more games under his belt. The guy I'm still not sold on is Rutta - for every decent play he makes, he seems to bonehead it every other 1.2 plays. His puckhandling is damn-near disastrous sometimes; hopefully Seabrook's stank isn't rubbing off on him somehow.,

Seeing the puck really well. Impressive tonight, but, yeah, a 6'5" goalie can't keep dropping into and popping up out of the butterfly like that forever.

That's a really bad loss to take. Oh well, apparently Rinne is just gonna make 35+ saves against us every night forever (though it helps him immensely when you shoot at his sternum).

A lot of wrestling music is used at hockey games; Triple H's theme is used a lot.

solid performance by the Hawks. I would like to see Sharp spend more time in the presser as he has nothing left to give this team on the ice.
