Hottest expansion team evar visits the Hawk, who have 8 out of their next 9 at home.

GKs are owning the Hawk the first four minutes, but no score as of yet...whoops.

Golden Knights on the second half of a road back-to-back but playing with all the effort. That's our Hawks.

No one's at this game and the people who are there are dead.

Chicago has completely abandoned this team. Hockey is dead here now. Is anyone surprised?

I wonder if the crowd is so light because it's cold and no one wants to leave the house, or if Las Vegas isn't a road draw, or if people have completely lost interest in the Blackhawks now that they're not winning championships. I have a feeling ratings are in freefall too.

My husband and son are there. They really wanted to go to vegas to see a GK game but that's not in the budget. Grandparents got 2 tix for this game instead as a xmas gift.

Since my son has been playing they usually send a list with about 15 games for about $65 tickets. Last year they went up in price somewhere between 85 and 100 I think. I don't remember seeing the email this year. It would be a shame if they got rid of that. We'd love season tickets or a small package but haven't really looked into it.

When we look at the UC for 300 levels they are usually about 120 or so. A hundred is usually our limit but that 65 was a screaming deal.

I don't think it makes us bad fans. It's disappointing to be priced out but it's hard for a family of 4 to drop $500+ in a night.

You would think that they'd really push discount tix to organized leagues better than even $65-85.

So I know the Golden Knights have been doing well...What's their story? Young? Chippy? Bunch of solid players? They play fast and get after it.

I thought the 65 was great. It was $300 or so for the evening and 3 of us loved it. The 4th was there for nachos or a pretzel but we were out as a family and always feels fun.

Fudge! So all our previous back up goalies were pretty good...I'm missing that.

This is the 2009-2012 Phoenix Coyotes all over again, where a ragtag assemblage of try-hards (that the NHL has a vested interest in the success of) racks up points all year against teams that take the night off.

Chicago has to have one of the worst fanbases in the league, at least on a per-capita basis.

They look like they play very disciplined positional hockey in the offensive zone. Look very well coached on O. I like what I saw them do in the offensive end of the ice.

Let me know how many professional games you go to when you are paying to have a kid play hockey....

I wasn't talking about having the wherewithal to get to the games, I mean in general. It's a library when the Hawks are trailing, and all it took for the market to utterly abandon the team was a first-round sweep. There's no real passion for hockey here. Only Philadelphia has true year-in-year-out support.

Ok. Sorry. I thought you were giving her the business since she was talking about the cost of going to the game.
