Panik, with 69 seconds left in the first.

Sharp! About 5 minutes into the second. Kind of cheap but acceptable.

Interesting stat about how Boucher's horseshit 1-3-1 system gets torched in the long change.

Toews, and a goalie change. 4-0 middle of the 2nd.

Oops make it 4-1. Toews then Stoner. Not sure what to make of that.

The Sens have a player named Ben Harper? Is he gonna burn one down?

One thing that has been encouraging about the Hawks to this point is that they tend to win big and lose small. I don't think they've been blown out very often at all.

Well, I forgot about that three-game skid around Christmas where they were an aggregate -10.

But damn, we may have to healthy-scratch Seabrook tomorrow night, too! Why mess with a good thing?

Good news on the out-of-town scoreboard with St. Louis and Minnesota both down two at their respective second intermissions. Of course, Minnesota is trailing to Calgary, who's tied with the Hawks, so it's not a perfect situation, but I think a win tonight gets the Hawks back into a playoff spot for a day or so.

Also can we just comment on how great Toews has been since Vinny joined the line. It's not just his scoring, but his play away from the puck has been that of the Toews of old.
