Maybe they misunderstood and thought it meant "are fucked"?

Hawks get out clean from a 5-3 power play ... very nice.

How is it possible that Duncan Keith has no goals at this point of the season?

I think he averages like 4 even strength goals per year with a few PP long distance ones on top of that.

If the Blackhawks should miss the playoffs, God forbid, and if their waiver exemptions aren't up, I'd like to see them send Schmaltz and DeBrincat down to Rockford for the Calder Cup so they can run through everyone.

Is there any real tangible benefit for the Hawks to not make the playoffs rather than make them ... as compared to the NBA, for example.

No, none whatsoever. They don't get playoff gates and won't draft higher than 14th (Las Vegas is guaranteed at least the #15 pick even if they win the Cup).

That's good, right? For the sport overall, I mean.

 Pat Foley's gonna go Hawk-level apeshit if that goalie interference is the difference in this game.

Troy Murray just took like 30 seconds to explain what a shot on goal is when he could have said "a goal or a shot that the goalie stops."

Call up Forsling and play him with Murphy for the rest of the season. Give them fair starts. Play Seabrook 25 minutes a night. Try like hell to trade Anisimov and if you can't take him away from Kane and Schmaltz. TANK!
