The last-place team only has an 18.5% chance of drafting first overall, down from 25% in previous years and a much higher percentage when the draft lottery was just "winner moves up five spots," e.g. New Jersey winning the 2011 lottery and drafting fourth.

One of my cousins has been tending bar in one of the 300 level corner locations for many years. This may be his most horrible earning season ever, even with inflation. Blowouts mean people don't stay for the 4th quarter/2nd intermission, and that means one less drink and one less tip.

I guess at least we can look at the Blues, and say that they're only one point better. They got hammered 6-1 at home by the Canuck last night...yeesh.

That Blues team sure is a mystery. They have plenty of talent up and down the lineup even to withstand some injuries. Gotta question the heart and leadership on that team.
