IMO, single handedly won that last cup with his face off wins in the playoffs.

Catching lightning in a bottle with acquisitions like him were very important during the run. Kind of ran out of luck.

Things like that are why I really had no problem with him being shit canned. I feel that to a degree the 3 Cups were in spite of Q rather than because of him. The 2014 series vs. LA still pisses me off.

100% agreed. As I scrolled through this thread I was going to write "they often won in spite of Q" and how he botched the 2014 LA series.

This is a major reason why I give a lot more credit to the players for the 3 Cups than Q. Quite a few NHL coaches would have gotten the same results from that roster.
