The playoff format must be a good idea because on PTI today, Wilbon hated it. Because he won't be able to follow who is playing with 4 extra teams and two locations.

In the last year, Wilbon has gone off the crotchety old man deep end. He and Mr. Tony were the reasons I would buy the Sunday Post when I would visit friends in Laurel - I'd read the paper on the flight home. I was disappointed when he turned down the Tribune for the lead columnist back 20-odd years ago and Chicago had to endure Skip Bayless.

But now, he sounds like Larry King.
