Maybe his history of abusing players would be a bad look for a team recovering from a sexual assault allegation.

Doesn't that apply with him on staff? If they were worried about that then they should have already booted him

He's an assistant, not the guy the camera will focus on during the game and will have to answer questions in the postgame scrum. He can just coach and not be one of the faces of the team.

My guess is that they didn’t want Crawford to be “successful” and thereby would have to offer him the full time job. Bring in King and the new GM can bring in his guy. King back to Rockford.

This organization is a mess. After the damage the old man did this the team, we thought when he finally did us the courtesy of dying that we could go back to loving them. But it turns out Rocky hired horrible people and that will set the team back big time. How long will it be before the team is loved in Chicago again? Will it take another Championship? A change in ownership?

If they just play .500 hockey I think we can forgive the Kyle Beach stuff

The Hawks will never be allowed to live down the Kyle Beach stuff unless they change the name and logo.

As the President, I could get on board with this. Jeff Gorton would be a good hire for GM.

As long as Olczyk's job is just a sinecure where he goes around not being John McDonough, I think it's harmless now that the Pat & Eddie Show is over. I wouldn't let him have any real input into personnel decisions, I don't think.

I know there will come a day when I agree with the renaming of this thread but at this point (admittedly small sample size) it appears to be premature.
